Where is The Apple Tree On The Green?

Can I hire the venue for a private event?
● Yes. The venue is available to hire 7 days a week.

Which spaces can I book?
● Our Upstairs Bar is perfect for shows and private parties with its own stage and full AV equipment. Ask us for our Sound Specs.
● It holds about 70 seated guests theatre style and 70 standing guests for a party/disco.
● The Main Bar is available for non private events for guests up to about 50 – not all guests are guaranteed to have a seat.
● The Main Bar is also available for hire, but please note although on occasion we can close for walk-in customers for your event, there will be customers going through the Main Bar to go to the Upstairs Bar.
● The full venue is available for private hire (Main Bar and Upstairs Bar) – you will need to provide your own security, sound tech and door person for full venue private hire.

What are the timings for private hire of the Upstairs Bar?
● Mon – Sat: Daytime: 12-5pm
● Evening hire: 6pm-close
● Sunday: We are open 12-8pm.
● Please note music needs to be off at midnight.

How do events work with Event Producers?
● You are responsible for selling your own tickets.
● We keep the bar spend, you keep ticket sales.
● We will require a refundable deposit to secure your booking and a minimum bar
spend.
● You will need to provide a sound technician if you need one and a door person to tick
off names and stamp hands – we do not have the staff in house to help with this.

What AV do you have on site?
● Please ask for our Sound Specs to see what kit we have in house.
● We have a jack connection you can use to plug and play your own music (phone/laptop).
● We don’t have an in house sound tech, but can set up a mic on the stage for you. If your requirements are more complicated you’ll need to bring your own sound tech.

Do you serve food at the venue?
● A selection of tapas is available.
● If you’re planning a big event and want to order from our menu, please pre-order and pay for your food 14 days in advance of your event. We can serve your choices buffet style.

Do you cater for private events?
● We have a lovely selection of tapas available to order.
● On occasion and in special circumstances, we may allow you to bring in your own ready to serve food for your private hire event. This must be pre arranged and agreed with the Events Team.
● We are unable to heat food for you or provide a food preparation space.
What’s your Code Of Conduct?
● We have a code of conduct that everybody needs to adhere to – this will be sent to you prior to your event.
● If you are an Event Producer or planning an event at The Apple Tree, it is your responsibility to ensure your performers and anyone involved in your production adhere to our Code of Conduct.
● Please note that we do not have a nudity licence, so nipples and private parts must
be covered.

What are your T’s and C’s?
● These will be sent to you before your event with your specific event details.

What happens to my deposit after the event?
● If there are no issues, your minimum spend is reached and all additional payments received (such as karaoke/screen/food), there are no breakages, our Code of Conduct and all T’s and C’s and contract conditions are adhered to, your deposit will be refunded to the same card you paid on a few working days after your event via our secure bookings system.

Can you help us to market our event?

● When you have set up an FB event, please add us as a co-host so it appears on our
page.
● Please could you and your performers tag us when promoting the event.
● Please share your event and performer’s social media handles with us.
● If you have any images you would like to share with us after the event, we would love
to see them! Please send them to events@theappletreelondon.co with the relevant
credits (photographer, performer name and tags etc).
● If you have a large mailing list and we can feature, please do let us know. We can
send you images and copy. In turn we could offer you a feature in our monthly
newsletter.
● We may be able to put some posters up for you on our notice boards, check with
events@theappletreelondon.com.
● We occasionally record our events or take photos for marketing purposes, please
ensure your audiences know this in advance and agree.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
● There’s a sloped 10cm step to enter the building. We have a threshold ramp.
● We have an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
● The first floor Upstairs Bar is up 24 winding stairs with a handrail.
● Shows and Private events that take place in the Upstairs Bar are unfortunately not accessible.

Is there a hearing loop?
● We do not have a hearing loop.
